Although Nicki Minaj and Rihanna are both very talented artists, I doubt either one of these ladies is qualified to be a first responder on the scene of an airline crash. Luckily, in the video for “Fly” there doesn’t appear to be any casualties as they sing amidst the smoldering wreckage of an airplane that made an unscheduled ‘landing’ in the middle of a quiet, suburban neighborhood.

Anyway, the video premiered on Sunday evening right before the VMAs began. Since MTV was kind enough to only play 30 seconds of it during the pre-show, you can check out the entire video right now.

The gloomy Sanaa Hamri-directed video features the pair of beauties in a world that appears to have been devastated by an apocalyptic event. Nicki Minaj also gets to showcase some of her moves and both of the ladies go through a few outfit changes – including Nicki in an all-white bodysuit battling back some ninjas which then turns the destruction happening in their video world into a flowery paradise.
